Who this is for
This consultation serves holders who possess a hardware wallet — Ledger Nano S or X, Trezor One or Model T, Coldcard Mk3 or Mk4, or similar — that has not been connected to a computer in one year or longer. Perhaps you purchased during an earlier market cycle, wrote down a seed phrase, and set the device aside. Perhaps a passphrase was added and the details are uncertain.
What we examine
During the session we inspect the physical device for damage, verify the model and firmware generation against manufacturer records, and discuss any passphrase or Shamir backup configuration you recall. We review paper, steel, and digital backup materials you bring, noting gaps or inconsistencies without attempting live recovery during the appointment.
What you receive
Within five business days you receive a written Recovery Readiness Report covering:
- Device identification and estimated firmware compatibility
- Backup material completeness assessment
- Passphrase layer status (present, absent, or uncertain)
- Recommended next steps ranked by urgency and feasibility
- List of specialist recovery services if professional extraction becomes necessary
What is excluded
We do not perform live seed recovery, brute-force passphrase attempts, or firmware modifications during this session. We do not hold custody of your device overnight. We do not provide investment guidance on whether to move funds.
Preparation
Bring the hardware wallet, all backup materials, any purchase receipts, and a list of wallets or accounts you believe the device once accessed. Allow 90 minutes. Sessions are by appointment only.
Fee and booking
The session fee is ₩350,000, payable at the office before the consultation begins. Request an appointment through our contact form, selecting “Dormant Wallet Assessment.”
