Origin
Portal Cedar Line began in 2019 when our founder, after helping a family member recover access to a Ledger Nano S purchased in 2015, recognised how many holders in South Korea and abroad were sitting on dormant devices without a clear recovery plan. The practice grew from informal advice into structured consultations at our Daejeon office.
What we do
We prepare hardware wallet holders for recovery. That means assessing device condition, reviewing backup materials, documenting multi-device inventories, and producing written readiness reports. We work with Ledger, Trezor, Coldcard, and other BIP-39 compatible devices.
What we do not do
We are not a recovery extraction service. We do not attempt live key recovery, passphrase cracking, or firmware hacking. We do not manage funds, provide trading advice, or operate wallet software on behalf of clients.
Our approach
Every session is in-person at our Seo-gu office. We examine physical materials only. Clients retain full custody of devices and backups throughout. Our reports are written in plain language with ranked next steps, so you can proceed independently or engage a specialist recovery firm with clear documentation.

Jae-hoon Park — Lead consultant. Former IT auditor with eight years of experience in cryptographic key management documentation. Handles dormant wallet assessments and multi-device inventories.
Eun-ji Choi — Documentation specialist. Focuses on seed phrase material review, steel plate legibility assessment, and Shamir share verification.
Community
We contribute field notes to our journal and speak at local meetups in Daejeon about backup hygiene and recovery preparation. We maintain no affiliation with hardware wallet manufacturers.
